Anavri means ancient roots of
purity. It is a name chosen not for how it sounds, but for what it stands for —
a return to the original, the unadulterated, the true. A return to the way food
was before shortcuts became the norm and purity became a marketing claim rather
than a promise.

We started Anavri because we
saw something being lost. India's most extraordinary foods — ghee churned
slowly from the milk of indigenous cows, honey gathered raw from wildflower
meadows, tea leaves plucked whole by patient hands, spices ground clean without
fillers — were quietly disappearing from Indian tables. Not because they had
ceased to exist, but because the modern marketplace had little patience for the
time they demanded.

We refused to accept that.

Our A2 Gir cow ghee and A2
Sahiwal cow ghee are made the traditional bilona way — slow-churned from
cultured curd, the method that Indian households have trusted for thousands of
years. Our honeys are raw, unheated, and traceable to their floral and geographic
source. Our orthodox and Green teas are whole-leaf, hand-plucked from the
valley gardens of the Brahmaputra, processed with the patience that real tea
demands. Our spices are single-origin, pure, and packed without compromise.

Every product in the Anavri
family is held to one timeless standard — would our ancestors recognise this as
real? If the answer is yes, it belongs with us. If not, it has no place at our
table.
