One blossom. One hive. One jar. Anavri Monofloral Tulsi Honey is not infused — it is foraged. Our bee boxes live inside working Tulsi farms during the flowering season, and the bees forage on nothing else. The honey they bring back naturally carries the pollen and bioactive compounds of the Tulsi blossom because we cold-extract it and never heat it above hive temperature. Nothing added. Nothing needs to be.
Foraged, Not Infused
Most 'herbal' honey on the market is ordinary honey with an extract, flavouring or essential oil stirred in after the fact. That is not what this is. Genuine monofloral honey can only be produced by placing hives inside a single flowering crop at the right moment of the season and letting the bees do the work. It is harder, slower, and bound to one narrow window each year — which is exactly why so little of it exists.
Why Tulsi
Tulsi (holy basil) is one of the most revered plants in Ayurveda, traditionally used as an adaptogen and a respiratory tonic. Honey foraged from Tulsi blossom carries the plant's signature aromatic compounds — eugenol and rosmarinic acid among them — directly from the nectar, in their natural form, undiluted by any additive.

A Note on Crystallisation
If your honey crystallises, rejoice — it is a sign of purity. Place the jar in warm water to restore it to liquid form. Never microwave.
Storage
Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. Do not refrigerate. Keep the lid tightly closed after use. Colour, aroma, flavour and viscosity may vary between batches depending on the harvest season and Tulsi bloom conditions — a characteristic of genuine monofloral raw honey, not a defect. As with other raw foods, not suitable for infants under 12 months.
